Our Impacts
How do we measure impact?
At Lima Africa, impact is not just measured in numbers, but in stories of change and resilience. We see it in the farmers whose livelihoods are strengthened, in the families who can look to the future with hope, and in the communities that thrive because agriculture remains a source of dignity and pride. Every initiative we take is rooted in the belief that farmers should not be forced to abandon their fields, but rather empowered to remain in agriculture with confidence and purpose.
Our work is also deeply connected to the land itself. By upcycling organic waste, we breathe new life into materials that would otherwise be lost, turning them into resources that restore depleted soils and revive ecosystems. With every field rejuvenated, we create a ripple effect that sustains both people and the planet. This cycle of renewal ensures that farming is not only a means of survival today, but a foundation for a greener, more abundant tomorrow.

Stories of Impact
– Asha, smallholder farmer in Morogoro
“Before Lima Africa, I planted late because I couldn’t afford fertilizer upfront. Now I access Mazao Plus on credit, repay through my harvest, and my maize yield increased by 30%. With insurance, I feel secure even when rains fail.”
